Al Badia Cement Participates in the Special Job Fair for the employment of persons with disabilities in the private sector.

Damascus, September, 25th - 27th, 2010

Al Badia Cement, which is undertaking one of the largest industrial projects in Syria – the construction of a new, modern cement plant in Damascus Country Side Abo El Shamat area – Participates in the “Special Job Fair” employment of persons with disabilities in the private sector, organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs - The General Authority for Operation and Development Projects, in collaboration with the Institute of Human Resource Management, which is held on the sidelines of the seventh regional games for Special Olympics to be held under the auspices of the First Lady, Mrs. Asma al-Assad, wife of the President of the Syrian Arab Republic.

The participation of Al Badia Cement in the “Special Job Fair” is consistent with the company’s role and contribution to Social Responsibility, which is one of the most important pillars of sustainability embraced by the company.
